Beyond the Behaviour
Understanding What Shapes Us and What Helps Us Move Forward
About
We all develop patterns in the way we think, respond and behave. Some may support us for a time, while others can begin to hold us back or no longer fit with the way we want to live.
Understanding these patterns can be useful, but the focus of my work is not about dwelling on what has gone wrong it is about looking at where you are now and what you would like to move towards.
Coaching provides a positive, collaborative space to explore what matters to you and what you would like to be different. Together, we can identify your values, strengths and priorities, establish realistic goals, and develop practical steps towards them.
My work draws on behavioural health and recovery coaching techniques, including motivational interviewing, goal setting, values work and relapse-prevention strategies where appropriate. Rather than telling you what you should do, I support you in exploring your own motivation, developing confidence in your choices and finding practical ways to create the changes that are important to you.
You do not need to be in recovery or facing a major crisis to benefit from this kind of support. You may simply feel stuck, want to change a habit or behaviour, be adjusting to a new stage of life, or want greater structure, direction and accountability.
Coaching is not therapy or counselling. It is a forward-focused process centred on where you are now, where you would like to be, and the steps that can help you move in that direction.
Experience & Training
Alongside my own lived experience, I have several years of professional experience supporting people within a residential treatment setting, as well as working independently with individuals on a one-to-one basis in their own homes.
I hold a qualification in Applied Behavioural Health & Recovery Coaching, with training that includes motivational interviewing, goal setting, relapse prevention, values-based work and person-centred approaches to supporting meaningful change.

Schedule a Consultation
A space to explore what feels right for you.
An initial consultation is an opportunity to talk about what is happening for you, what you would like to change, and the kind of support you may be looking for.
There is no pressure or expectation. It is simply a chance for us to explore your current situation, discuss how I work, and consider whether my approach could be the right fit for you.
Whether you are navigating recovery, experiencing a period of change, or looking for support with your mental and emotional wellbeing, we can start by having a conversation.
